LIBRA NEW MOON & VENUS RETROGRADE: Scales, the Honey & the Art of Surrender

October's Frequency Flow | The 10.10.10 Portal, Libra New Moon & Venus Retrograde

My loves,

October's New Moon in Libra is coming in hot, and honey, she's asking you to turn all that lover girl energy back toward yourself.

All that love, attention, devotion, and energy you've been pouring into everyone and everything else? What would happen if you started pouring some of that sweetness back into YOU?

It's time to build your internal honey pot.

As I've been sitting with October's energy, my guides have been showing me a set of scales. One side is overflowing with responsibilities, expectations, relationships, outdated identities, obligations, and everything we've convinced ourselves we need to carry. The other side is nearly empty.

And the message coming through is clear:

The scales have been tipping too far in one direction. It's time to remove what's weighing you down and begin pouring honey onto the other side.

Not by adding more to your plate or finding another way to do it all, but by getting honest about what no longer belongs there.

We've become so accustomed to holding everything together, being everything for everyone, and carrying things that were never ours to begin with that somewhere along the way, we stopped asking ourselves what we actually need.

What about your desires? Your pleasure? Your peace? The dreams you've quietly placed on the back burner while tending to everyone else's?

Honey, in this message, represents the sweetness of life. The nourishment, love, pleasure, abundance, beauty, and devotion we so often reserve for everyone but ourselves.

And perhaps the greatest act of love this season is remembering that you deserve to be nourished by the life you're creating, too.

The 10.10.10 Portal: Completion, Creation & New Beginnings

October 10, 2026, carries a beautiful numerological symbolism: 10.10.10.

October is the 10th month, October 10 is the 10th day, and 2026 adds up to 10.

In numerology, 10 carries the symbolism of a cycle coming full circle while opening into something new. The 1 represents initiation, independence, and creation, while the 0 represents infinite potential and the space from which new possibilities emerge.

But there's something else I want to share.

Before the 10 comes the 9.

Nine is associated with completion, release, and the wisdom gathered through experience. And sometimes, before we can step into the life we've been envisioning, we have to allow an old version of our lives to come to completion.

Not everything that ends is a failure, and not everything that leaves is meant to be reclaimed. Sometimes the very things we're fighting to hold onto are the things keeping us from experiencing what's next.

This is the energy of the 10.10.10 portal as I'm receiving it: an invitation to honor what has been, release what has run its course, and participate in the creation of what comes next.

And I can tell you, this message has been deeply personal for me.

The Grief Portal I've Been Walking Through

I've been moving through what I can only describe as a grief portal.

Looking back, the unraveling began on February 16 with my first hospital visit. What started as a journey through my physical body, including the loss of parts of my body, eventually became an experience of loss across nearly every area of my life.

Over the past eight weeks especially, I've been sitting with the weight of it all. My career, relationships, identity, finances, selling my home in Pennsylvania, and the uncertainty surrounding my business. There were moments when I genuinely considered putting my business down altogether.

And perhaps one of the most confronting realizations was recognizing that even after leaving corporate America, I was still wearing parts of the corporate mask.

I had physically left that world, but there were still parts of me operating from the expectations, conditioning, and identities I had spent years cultivating. The need to prove myself, to be productive, to have everything figured out, and to measure my success by what I was accomplishing rather than how I was actually experiencing my life.

It's one thing to leave an environment. It's another to recognize how much of that environment is still living within you.

And grief isn't always about losing someone. Sometimes it's grieving the person you used to be, the future you imagined, or the version of life you thought you would have by now.

Sometimes it's realizing that the identity you worked so hard to build is the very one you're being invited to release.

Recently, I discovered something that might seem small to someone outside the world of astrology, but felt deeply significant to me.

For years, I believed I was a Sagittarius Rising. Turns out, I'm a Scorpio Rising.

A corrected birth time completely shifted how I understood my astrological blueprint. And while I don't believe a birth chart defines who we are, this discovery became another mirror, inviting me to look more deeply at what I've been carrying, what I've been protecting, and where I've been holding on so tightly that I haven't left much room to receive.

I had to get really honest with myself about how much I was carrying and how often I was trying to carry it alone.

And then came the remembrance.

I am not alone.

I have a beautiful community. I have people who love me. I have my spirit team, my guides, and the unseen support I've felt throughout my life. And most importantly, I have myself.

My soul mission is so much greater than this season. My worth isn't measured by my productivity, my bank account, my relationships, or how gracefully I navigate difficult moments. And I don't have to exhaust myself to prove I'm devoted to my purpose.

I'm learning to allow life to reorganize itself without interpreting every ending as something I've done wrong. To recognize that surrender doesn't require me to abandon my desires, and trust doesn't mean I have to pretend the uncertainty isn't uncomfortable.

I'm also remembering that I deserve to experience the very love, nourishment, and devotion I've spent so much of my life offering to others.

I am allowed to be the delicious nectar, too.

And so are you.

The Libra New Moon & Venus Retrograde: A Return to Yourself

The New Moon in Libra brings our attention to relationships, harmony, beauty, reciprocity, and the balance between ourselves and others. And with Venus, Libra's ruling planet, retrograde in Scorpio since October 3, there's an even deeper invitation to revisit our relationship with love, desire, pleasure, money, and self-worth.

Scorpio invites us beneath the surface, into the places where we may have confused attachment with love, control with safety, or sacrifice with devotion. Libra reminds us that harmony isn't the same as keeping the peace at our own expense.

Together, these energies are inviting us to examine the relationships we have with others, but more importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves.

Where have you been abandoning yourself to maintain connection? Where have you been giving more than you're allowing yourself to receive? Where have you been compromising your truth to preserve a version of life you've already outgrown?

And where have you forgotten that you're worthy of the same devotion you offer so freely?

This isn't about becoming selfish or closing yourself off from love. It's about recognizing that you are also part of the relationship. Your needs matter, your desires matter, and your energy matters.

You cannot keep pouring from a well you refuse to replenish.

And maybe that's what this season is really asking of us: to stop searching outside ourselves for permission to experience the love, pleasure, beauty, and abundance we're capable of cultivating within.

Because being your own source of sweetness doesn't mean you stop allowing others to love you. It means you're no longer abandoning yourself in the hope that someone else will fill the spaces you've left empty.

Surrender Is Not the Absence of Action

There's one more message coming through strongly this month, and I want you to sit with it.

Your visions and desires for your life are possible, but possibility asks something of us.

Yes, there's surrender. Yes, there's trust. And yes, there's allowing the Universe to reorganize our lives in ways our human minds might not yet understand.

But there's also responsibility, honesty, and aligned action.

We cannot keep asking for a different life while remaining devoted to the patterns, identities, and choices that keep recreating the old one.

Sometimes surrender looks like releasing control and allowing yourself to be supported. Other times, it looks like finally making the decision you've been avoiding, having the uncomfortable conversation, setting the boundary, asking for support, or choosing yourself even when the outcome is uncertain.

The Universe can open the door, but we still have to be willing to walk through it.

And here's what I'm continuing to learn: surrender and action aren't opposites. We can trust the unfolding while still being active participants in our becoming.

We can honor the grief of what's ending while taking intentional steps toward what we're calling in. We can stop trying to control every detail without giving up our power to choose.

And sometimes the most courageous action we can take is to stop carrying something we've convinced ourselves we cannot put down.

An Invitation to Rebalance Your Scales

As we move through this New Moon, I invite you to spend a few moments with yourself.

Place one hand over your heart and the other over your lower belly. Take a few slow breaths, feel the support beneath you, and allow yourself to explore these questions without needing to rush toward an answer.

What's weighing down your scales?

What responsibilities, relationships, beliefs, expectations, or outdated versions of yourself are asking to be released?

Where are you being invited to pour your honey?

What would it look like to offer yourself more pleasure, rest, compassion, beauty, nourishment, or devotion?

What action is your next becoming asking of you?

Not ten steps or an entire life plan. Just one honest, embodied step toward the life you say you desire.

Because the goal isn't to create a perfectly balanced life where nothing ever shifts. It's to cultivate enough self-trust to recognize when something is no longer supporting you and enough courage to choose differently.

A Final Love Note

My loves, if you're in a season where everything feels uncertain, where identities are shifting, relationships are changing, or the life you once knew no longer feels like home, I want to remind you that you're allowed to grieve what was while still being curious about what could be.

You're allowed to be grateful and exhausted, hopeful and uncertain, devoted to your vision and unsure of your next step.

You don't have to rush your becoming, but you do have to participate in it.

So this October, as the scales ask to be rebalanced, may you have the courage to release what has become too heavy, trust the spaces that open, and remember that receiving is just as sacred as giving.

May you allow the Universe to surprise you, without forgetting the power you hold in shaping your own life.

And may you begin pouring some of that delicious honey back into yourself.

You are not just the one tending the garden, my love. You are worthy of its sweetness, too.

An Invitation to Journey Deeper
